So Where Is Miss Nichole?

Over the past 7 weeks we have all been missing Miss Nichole. Here she is talking about her time in Goulburn and the physie girls she has met. Although we are glad you have had a wonderful experience, we are looking forward to having you back with your physie family

My 7-week adventure to Goulburn!!

It’s Miss Nichole here!! I’m currently sitting in my room in Goulburn, missing everyone including my family and loved ones, my closest friends, my physie family and of course, my gorgeous 5-6 year girls!!

I found out just a month and a half ago that my Occupational Therapy clinical placement for my university degree was going to be in Goulburn, a mere 2 hours drive away from home! This meant that I was going to be living independently, all by myself, for the next 7-weeks!! This wasn't the only stressing aspect… this meant that I wasn't going to be able to teach classes or have anywhere to practice my own physie! AHH!

Luckily for me, Goulburn Physie Club came to the rescue!!!

I was able to contact Laura, the amazing teacher at Goulburn Physie Club, to organise a lesson time, around their already busy physie and working schedule, so I could come and have weekly practices. Thankfully, they welcomed me with open arms, even when they currently have no seniors!

Goulburn Physie teachers Laura, Kerrin and Amy have been just amazing as well as the other lovely ladies and gorgeous girls that I have come to know!! You know they’re true physie girls when another club welcomes and looks after another physie girl like they have!! I’m so happy to have met them all!!

Every time I walk into a class, the girls are ecstatic to see me!! I’ve even heard that they ask my whereabouts and “why aren’t I at physie yet” when I’m a little late or coming later in the night!!

I will always be so thankful for this opportunity and have made friends that I intend to continue even when I leave Goulburn and return home in a few weeks!

As for my clinical placement, it's been a great experience and a learning journey!! I’ve gotten to learn the ropes and get into the swing of things!! I can’t wait to become a working paid Occupational Therapist because I love this job! I get to help people and that’s what I love to do!

I can’t wait to see everyone at the concert!! See you soon!!

Love Miss Nichole xx
