GG Physie Girls

This week we are featuring the lovely Olivia Bleeker. Now competing in the 19-20 years Open senior section Olivia has represented Guildford Greystanes since she started physie as a young girl. Winning zone many times she represents everything that it takes to be a champion. Hard working, persistent and above all a great role model to our junior girls. There is no doubt that Olivia LOVES her physie and here is what she had to say when we interviewed her:

GG: What is your favourite thing about Physie?

My favourite thing about physie would be performing my best physie at competitions. It’s always a very special feeling for me when I’m completely in the moment, enjoying my own physie then coming off the floor knowing I performed my best.

GG: What do you like to do in your spare time?

I’m currently at uni studying sport science so if I’m not studying I always value spending time with my family, friends or going for runs.

GG: Tell us about your proudest physie moment?

It’s hard to pick just one but my proudest moment would be winning zone in the 13s with both my mum, dad and grandparents watching on the sidelines. Making the semi-final for the first time in seniors would also be one of my proudest. Knowing that I improved from my last performance was really important to me.

GG: What are your hot tips for GG Belles wanting to make 2021 their best Physie year yet?

Don’t be afraid to set your goals high, you never know what could happen when you practice and put in the work. I find the most important thing is to just enjoy and have fun at practice and competitions because that’s when your best physie shines through.
